there was the sound of choppers in the air.in my panic i rushed to pull open the curtains and unlock and open the glass doors to take a picture of this. not super duperly pro, but ok la. heh.
about a minute after the helicopter and planes flew by. people who were staring at the sky had turned back to look at the tv, while the man in white seems to be anticipating more. but a few minutes after this shot was taken they all shut their glass doors and went in, perhaps not knowing that just a moment ago, the people nearest to them were doing the exact same thing they were doing. that's what i call a temporal unifying experience. if that makes any sense at all.

caught this on the way home yesterday. usually it read 'ACCIDENT ON LEFT LANE' or 'TRAFFIC JAM ON AYE' but look at that! Flag up Singapore! Cute.

And, just a last shot of the volunteers who went yesterday to SAAC for the national day celebrations (which was worth the sacrificing of a not very important lecture.)(i just had to justify myself)
